'Official' New Release :)

Welcome to The Paper Nest Dolls' first
"official" New Release Blog Hop!

Today the very talented and creative design team of The Paper Nest Dolls has put together this hop to share with you projects made using our 9 new stamps!

Digital versions of these stamps regularly sell for $3.00 each, but from today through Friday May 3rd you can get ALL 9 images for only $18 here in our shop!

I made something a bit different for me using a new toy of mine the adorable Washboard Ellie image.  She is so amazingly easy to colour up and know I will be using her time and time again!

I LOVE the way her skin came out on this occasion.  The image was coloured with copics

E000, E00, E20, R35, R37, B93, B95, B97, E30, E31, E33, E35YG03, YG17, C3, C5

The rhinestones are from my stash and you can just about see where I used my Tim Holtz Tea Dye distress inks on the inside!

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I added some ultra fine glitter over the top to add some sparkle.  The papers had no name on the bottom and the small ticket and letters are from my little scrap box!

We couldn't host a blog hop without fun giveaways! One lucky winner will receive our entire set of new images, and one lucky winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to our shop!
Participants must comment on every stop of the hop and be a follower of our blog for a chance to win! We also encourage you to become a fan of our Facebook page!

Lets Play

Good Morning! How are we all today? well its a beautiful day here - the sun is shining and its lovely and warm! So nice to have some warm weather!

Anyway I'm here to share with you a recent commission - This is a stamp I have had tucked away for ages - but never found the right occasion to use it! But when I was asked to make a card for a special girl turning 8 who loved cats!

So this stamp was just perfect! I loved colouring her - the cats worried me at first and I did have a couple of attempts at colouring them before I was happy with their appearance!

Materials

Copics
Papers from stash
 Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
Twine and Charm from Stash
Quickcutz Daisy
Tim Holts Tea Dye Distress Ink
Martha Stewart Punch
Diamond Stickles

I decided to try and be cleaver and shape my card this time using the MS punch - I don't think it turned out too bad! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

That Craft Place - For a Child

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon :)
